Teams with a value higher than 5.0 are above average and teams with a value lower than 5.0 are below average. Ratings are based on overall performance and have been calculated for performances HOME and AWAY. To calculate a predicted pointspread for a game, compare the values of both teams and subtract the value of the lower rated team from the value of the higher rated team. For example, if team A is playing at team B you would compare the AWAY value of team A to the HOME value of team B and subtract the lower value from the higher value. To calculate the predicted total points to be scored in a game, add the away team's OVER/UNDER VALUE INDEX to the home team's OVER/UNDER VALUE INDEX.
