       BALTIMORE ORIOLES - Reliever Shawn Boskie (right elbow surgery)
  and  starting pitcher Rocky Coppinger (shoulder/elbow) will miss the
  rest of the season.
       CLEVELAND INDIANS - *Starting infielder Kevin Seitzer (sprained
  right ankle) pinch hit in Sunday's game against Minnesota. *Starting
  utilityman Bip Roberts (stiff  upper  back)  missed  Sunday's  game.
  Starting  pitcher  John  Smiley  (broken  left  arm)  and utilityman
  Herbert Perry (surgery for torn right knee cartilage) will miss  the
  rest of the season.
       NEW YORK YANKEES - Reserve outfielder Darryl  Strawberry  (left
  knee) and reserve infielder Pat Kelly (foot) will miss the remainder
  of the season. Starting second baseman Luis  Sojo  (broken  bone  in
  left  wrist)  is  eligible  to  be activated off the 15-day disabled
  list.
       SEATTLE MARINERS -  *Designated  hitter  Edgar  Martinez  (sore
  ribs) missed Sunday's game against Oakland. *Starting shortstop Alex
  Rodriguez  (sore  ankle)  and  starting  third  baseman  Russ  Davis
  (sprained  right  ankle)  missed  Sunday's  game. Relief pitcher Tim
  Scott (sore right elbow), starting pitcher Tim Davis (elbow ligament
  transplant  surgery) and relief pitcher Greg Hibbard (left shoulder)
  will miss the rest of the season.

       ATLANTA BRAVES - *Starting  pitcher  Denny  Neagle  (sore  non-
  pitching shoulder) started Sunday's game against New York.  Starting
  second baseman  Mark  Lemke  (torn  ligaments  in  right  ankle)  is
  expected  to  remain on the 15-day disabled list until the playoffs.
  Relief pitcher Pedro  Borbon  (elbow  surgery)  is  eligible  to  be
  activated  off  the  60-day  disabled list. Starting pitcher Terrell
  Wade (left elbow surgery) and relief  pitcher  Mike  Bielecki  (torn
  rotator cuff) will miss the rest of the season.
       FLORIDA MARLINS - Relief pitchers Bill Hurst (right  knee)  and
  Matt Mantei (rotator cuff) are sidelined indefinitely.
       HOUSTON ASTROS - Relief  pitcher  Mark  Small  (strained  right
  hamstring) is eligible to be activated off the 15-day disabled list.
  Starting pitcher Tommy Greene (torn  right  rotator  cuff),  reserve
  outfielder  Ray  Montgomery  (surgery  for  right  rotator cuff) and
  starting shortstop Tim Bogar (surgery for  fractured  bone  in  left
  forearm) will miss the rest of the season.
       SAN FRANCISCO  GIANTS  -  Starting  pitcher  Osvaldo  Fernandez
  (surgery for structural damage in right elbow) will miss the rest of
  the season.
